Clients not following advice

What do you guys do when you have clients that refuse to follow advice or try anything you suggest? I have a client that I'm helping to market an event. Frankly, she's not a designer as most aren't and her graphics and videos are no good for the crowd we're trying to attract. There are no professional photos or videos and I'm trying to do my best with the awful stuff I have. My name and reputation are tied to this work not to mention she wont be happy with the results and blame me. Would love some ideas on how to handle this.
