sephora insider sale

this is petty, but i shopped the sephora sale today and thought of carrie lol — poor thing. i got 8 items for total of $88.69 (many of the items were sephora brand, which are all 30% off for the sale)… depending on carrie’s tier within the loyalty program, she could have gotten between 10 to 20 percent off the several hundred dollars worth of stuff she bought for that haul… if only she had waited a few more weeks!

but, maybe she’s in a position financially where the discount wouldn’t have mattered much? even so, even my most financially well off friends still don’t just wanna throw away money they could have easily saved. 🤷‍♀️ per usual, it just suggests such an extreme lack of planning, intentionality, and restraint when it comes to the purchases.
