Pronunciation help on colorsoft?

Hi! My kids each have old kindle fire tablets right now that they only have access to books on. If my little one comes to a word that she can’t quite sound out, she can highlight it and it will read it to her. That’s not something the color soft can do, is it? Not a deal breaker, but that’d be neat still. Thanks!
