JustFund rejection for low equity. How to proceed?

JustFund refused my application on the basis of equity being too low. Is there anything I can do to get legal representation ahead of court date? Ex is refusing to settle out of court and I’ve just been served. How do I possibly afford legal representation? At a complete loss here and panicking.
