Redundancy - how do I bring up a settlement?

Hi, long story short I believe I have a good case for Employment Tribunal where my employer has failed in their duties under the Equality Act & I have a lot of evidence prepared for this.

They have just announced my role is at risk (convenient) just a day after giving me a payrise. They’ve said I’m entitled to the standard statutory payout for redundancy but I would like to push for a settlement which I don’t think they will willingly bring up.

How and when during this process should I bring this up? I have no experience in this and really don’t know where to begin - I’m convinced the redundancy is a smoke screen termination due to the concerns I raised only weeks ago. I would ideally like to settle privately without Tribunal but I’m not the best in confrontational settings and would appreciate some advice, please?

It’s my 2nd consultation meeting tomorrow, only my job is ‘at risk’

Many thanks
