I what to work as a pool tech in Ca

I'm very interested in working as a pool tech and considering to get certified before I apply. I'm wondering how feasible it'll be to do this seasonally and take two months in the summer off (I need to be abroad to help run a hotel). I get that summer is probably the busiest season but are there companies that would hire me seasonally and is there a demand for pool techs in general? Im in California
