Why honour Mary is she didn’t live a sinless life according her own conduct but by Gods grace?

I’m new to Catholicism, and am looking to join it, and this question just popped up. If in case Mary was preserved from sin since the moment of her conception, why do we give her much reverence? She would’ve also been a sinner like us if she wasn’t preserved, and anyone that God chose would’ve also lived a life of sinlessness. So why exactly is Mary honoured so much when the only reason she was able to be sinless was by Gods help and not by her own perfect obedience?
