BL Touch Z-Stop Issue

I finally installed a BL Touch to my ender 3 and flashed the official Creality firmware for my printer (I have a regular ender 3 with a 4.2.2 board and the old style screen). The 0 z-coordinate is about 4.1 mm above the bed. When I try to adjust the z-stop to the correct height, I put it in the probe z-stop, save the settings, power cycle, and it doesnt save the settings and is back to 0 being about 4.1 above where it should be. How can I fix this? I am not super knowledgeable, so any help it greatly appreciated!
