Comparing Bambu's Cool Plate SuperTack and OSEQ.cz plate

Show & Tell

I ordered 184x198 A1 mini OSEQ sheet few days before Bambu's Sale started, so 25 eur vs 10 eur Cool Plate SuperTack.

The OSEQ plate is certainly smoother and as such print comes of easier once cooled down compared to Cool Plate.

But I am happy with both, whenever I printed anything larger than 3x3 gridfinity (4x4 is max for A1 mini plate) I had to use glue to prevent warping on textured PEI.

Printed 3x3x10 Gridfinity box (albeit non standard with lots of hexgrids to make it 'see through' thanks to github.com/ostat/gridfinity_extended_openscad just fine at 45C with some cheapest PLA on the market and it's just fine.

Next day I printed this 3x2 gridfinity drawers, base on OSEQ and drawer on SuperTack and OSEQ as well.

Now it's my go to PLA plate for sure, the first layer imprint is almost non-existing and I can't tell difference between the two even though as I said OSEQ is surely smoother than SuperTack.

TPU is no go on either and I don't mind PEI imprint on functional TPU models (mostly stuff for drones), although it might be possible with layer of glue, but I won't dare to try.

PETG should be fine as well, although I am not sure about 45C bed temp.

PLA Silk is also no go according to Bambu and there is barely information on OSEQ's page.

What shall I use the Smooth PEI plate now for? TPU I guess.
