Garmon and Zaza Fight

I'm currently finishing some side content before act 3 and I'm having trouble activating the garmon and Zaza fight at Songclave. Im assuming the fight only happens before I collected all the mellodies the only problem is that I've collected all of them.

You guys know how to activate this boss battle? Or am I screwed?
