Question: Anyone had really good luck with letting there artist do whatever design they wanted?

So I have a half sleeve on my forearm currently and had an idea of what I wanted to start my upper half with. Gave my artist the idea and then once I read more into it I decided I didn’t want my original idea anymore. Already had my appointment set and didn’t want to reschedule so I told my artist to think of whatever design he thinks would go good with my current work since we weren’t going with my first idea. Gave him some restrictions on things I DIDNT want and told him to do the rest, he said no problem.

My appointment is in a few weeks and I’m super excited to get my sleeve going again but I can’t lie I’m a bit nervous I might not like what my artist comes up with. I told him the theme I’m going for and to just come up with something that goes along with that.

Anyone ever did this and it came out really good ? What’s your experience with this ?
