Good deal?

I’m in the market for a new vacuum. After reading a lot on this sub and researching options, leaning toward a lower end Miele canister vac (<$600). Single level 2000 sq ft home with hardwood, tile, low pile wool rugs, and ~50% carpet but plan to gradually replace with hard floors and rugs. 2 adults, no kids, short haired avg shedding dog. Main priority is good air quality (including while I’m vacuuming).

Found this 15 yr old Riccar, originally purchased for $3k (who paid that much for a home vacuum?!), selling for $150, never used commercially, nonsmoking home, owner claims in good condition and it looks clean in the pictures. Comes with an attachment kit. Is this worth considering, or put that money toward a new canister Miele?

If ya’ll rec’d getting a new vacuum, I’d love any input as to which model is best for my needs, they are challenging to compare. I’ve been eyeing Guard M1, M1 cat & dog, guard L1, Classic C1 turbo, Classic C1 pure suction, C1 cat & dog, C3 calima. 😵‍💫
