AITA for blocking my BD and his Fiancé?
I didn't block phone numbers, just social media
Before this situation blows up, I want some opinions. I had a restraining order on my BD for things he did while I was pregnant. When it expired a few years ago, I gave the dude a chance to be in our son's life. Over the last 2 and a half years, he's been in my son's life. He has provided maybe 50 dollars total and 6 outfits. He has actually only met my son in person one time for 3 days straight when he and his fiancée were staying with me briefly. She claims to want to be step-mama, but let's our differences get in the way instead of sucking it up and checking on my child. They make horrible financial decisions constantly, and my BD does the absolute bare minimum by asking me about my child occasionally, which I had to lose it on him a few times because he'd go a month without checking on the child he helped create. Now originally I wanted him to sign his rights over (they were never established to begin with but a state i lived in was going after childsupport though I dont live there anymore so they cant now) but when the child support order was going to come through I decided to genuinely give him this chance to show hes serious about taking care of and providing for the child he helped with, he freaked out and demanded to have my child unsuoervised every other week on call and changed it to once a week every month unsuoervised over text, clearly that will not happen as my child STILL doesnt know who he is to him and I've NEVER hid it. When he is older I will tell him in a way he can understand, and HE can decide if he wants a relationship with BD, my son has a father and that is my husband, who has provided and been there and stepped up fully, but AITA because I dont want to wait any longer for them to show true genuine care about my son? Ask for more info if y'all need it!
