I swear my parents get taken for a ride by these large Internet companies. Should I just switch them over to Starlink or something?
I'm pretty sure they pay upwards of $200 a month for internet, which imo is the biggest BS, but they're very hard to convince you don't need internet "speed" or billions of gigabits or whatever they try to upsell you. It actually ticks me off.
Randomly, I saw starlink is like $80 a month, which is double what I pay for myself—so I"m good. But for a couple who are not in the boondocks, literally in the middle of suburbia, but being taken for a long con ride by Big Internet, is Starlink a viable option?
