Q54 $700 Good deal for a travel guitar?

A close friend has an Ibanez Q54 for sale for $700 it’s pretty much in new condition. Do you think this would make a good travel guitar? I travel a lot for work, including flying, and wonder if the q54 would fit the bill as a quality instrument to take on the road. I’d buy a better gig bag for it if I buy it.

Thanks for your thoughts!
