Mario World Early Entry Quesitons

I heard this is the way to go, When in the mario land is it better to do the ride first or play the games? Do you have to buy the bracelet?

And when the rest of the park opens does anyone have any recommedations of what to hit up first? Should I walk down to the studio tour first or do other rides first?
