[TOMT][movie] Young guy unknowingly makes pact with the devil while housesitting

This is an american movie. It starts off with some dude arriving at a house that he is going to house sit. He is going to be the only one house sitting, and most of the movie is just him wandering in the house alone. From what I remember he is a tall guy in his early 20s and he has black hair.

At some point he enters a room and there are lit candles geometrically assembled on the floor, around a book/paper. He reads what's in the book/paper and blow off the candles, not thinking much of it.

In the next hours he starts to hear noises around the house and he starts to become proficient in things that he couldn't do before. For example, he finds out that he can speak other languages and play the piano beautifully.

Then at the end the devil speaks to him, I think in German, and tells him what happened. There is never gore in the movie, nobody dies from what I remember (but I could be wrong). I really don't remember what happens to the guy.

The movie had a slow pace and it felt like an indie/low budget movie.
