dating someone non-cc
i got a new friend who’s attracted to me & im attracted to her too but not intensely, i think she’s cute & i wanna get to know her more. said she wants to come over & kiss, and i want that too. she doesn’t mask or take precautions like i do.
the precaution i’ve taken with hookups in the past has been a pcr test day of. i’m wondering if that risk is still one i wanna take. lately i’m also tryna focus more on myself and i feel turned off thinking abt the stress that comes with risking covid with someone who doesnt take precautions. but i also want to have sex & explore queer intimacy. one of my fav ways to get to know someone is sex, its so fun. buttt ughhhhhhhh is it worth risking covid? and how do i even measure risk when so many variables exist with ppl that dont mask? i know pcr tests are great and as far as i know i haven’t had covid from a hookup that pcr tested. but now im questioning if that precaution is enough…. should i set new boundaries? how do i decide what to do when a) i dont want to get covid, b) i want to take actions that reduce chances of getting covid & c) i want to get to know & have intimacy w/ someone who doesn’t take precautions but is willing to test if i ask
i want to know what other people think, how are people navigating intimacy and sex with non-cc people - or what does cutting off non-cc people as an option to date look like?
