Seinfeld Cast Voting for Mayor

Opening Scene: Jerry’s annoyed that everyone’s posting “I voted!” selfies. Jerry: “It’s like they think democracy is a gym membership — if you don’t post it, you didn’t go.”

Elaine is canvassing for Zohran Mamdani — she’s overly earnest and self-righteous, spouting half-understood socialist jargon while dating a guy who works in private equity.

Kramer has joined Sliwa’s Guardian Angels. He’s wearing the beret and talking about “patrolling the subway” because “crime is up, Jerry!”

George, meanwhile, sees a cute polling volunteer with a tote bag reading “Voters make better lovers.” He realizes he missed registration — but she only flirts with people who voted. So he spends the whole episode trying to fake having voted: stealing stickers, forging ballot-stubs, even sneaking into a school gym trying to “cast a symbolic ballot.”

Jerry: “You’re pretending to vote?” George: “I’m performing civic virtue!”

Of course, it blows up — the woman sees him on the local news when Kramer’s Guardian Angels drag him out of the gym for “tampering with democracy.”
