Error Msg and Abyss Screen in BigChadGuys Modpack

Hi, my friend keeps getting this message and white abyss screen when loading into my server.

I can load in just fine and play just fine. We are using BigChadGuys (w/Cobblemon) modpack from CurseForge.

We've already tried allocating more ram to his minecraft (6g) and completely turning off and turning on again.

Red text says:

Unable to open Quest GUI no quest book date received from server!

- Check the FTB Quests and FTB Teams are installed on the server and that no server-side errors were logged when you connected
