the 1975 isn’t a one man band

I just wish we could hear something from the other guys. cause from what it sounds like right now, matty decided to revise a piece of work they created together based off a change in his personal taste. i agree with what people are saying, it’s a slippery slope. what stops matty from taking “if i believe you” off iliwys just cause it makes him cringe now?

i’ve had some of my other favorite songs from artists removed off streaming due to changes in labels and contracts, which is more understandable, but still fucking annoying. plenty of artists don’t like past songs they put out. i mean look at charli who’s been very open about her hatred for boom clap. or ethel cain who says that she skips western nights every single time she plays preachers daughter. they’re not taking their songs off streaming just cause of their personal views on it though, are they?

it just seems to me like matty changed a perfect album for an incredibly shit reason with absolute disregard for the people that he intentionally shared his art with.

i would just love to hear what george has to say about it at least.
