Why are humans so difficult to understand? [emotional blindness]

I’m an adult and I still find hard understanding and figuring out humans and their intentions I still don’t understand how things I say might offend some people or it wouldn’t matter to some other people at all I have emotional blindness so it’s hard for me to communicate with people without feeling like I’m offending, hurting or provoking them i find it very hard to comprehend the mental operating of another individual i sometimes can’t make sense of emotions like guilt, pity, kindness and empathy at all
