Can somebody for the love of god explain the whole Charlie robot situation in the Silver Eyes trilogy

I’ve tried to look up the explanation for this ordeal on google and YouTube but nothing of value came up so I want somebody here that’s smart to explain it to me. What I know is that the real human Charlie was killed at like 3 years old and Henry replaced her with a robot version that when she got older a new older robot replaced her. But what I don’t get is Baby in the books. Is baby possessed by Elizabeth? If so why does she say to Charlie that she’s her? How did Afton get ahold of Charlie’s adult robot form? And if Charlie survived the end of the Fourth Closet where does she go? Why would she take the Ella doll but then just ditch John? And the person that reaches out to him at the end is Charlie right? If so does she still have her memories? Is John gonna try and have kids with a robot? This book has confused me so much. Also side note I’ve only read the graphic novels.
