Need some help

hi everyone, my girlfriend and i just started playing today. we got stuck at the same spot in the tutorial right after you open the big book. it tells us to press P or hold left alt and click on Momo’s camera but the game doesn’t respond to anything we do. tried googling it and all i could find was stuff for after you’re already in camera mode. thanks for your time.
