Dumb question regarding DLCs

So I have two different copies of PLZA, one physical copy and one digital copy. The plan was to have the physical copy used for my switch 2, and the digital version for my old switch to do things like trading or other things requiring a second copy. However the DLC for it has latched to the digital copy (so it’s on the switch 1 with my digital copy). Is there a way I can bring just the DLC to the switch 2 (so it’s with my physical copy), while keeping the digital copy of the game on my switch 1?

If possible I’d rather do it like that (or just purchase the dlc again to have it on both copies of the game), but if I have to transfer my progress from the physical copy to my digital copy and have that be on the switch 2, with the physical copy being used on switch 1, so be it.
