Looking for someone to help get me understand alberta oil rig jobs ?

Hello all!

I have zero direct experience but tons of transferable skills.

I’ve read on other threads that there’s a lot of money to be made working on oil rigs in alberta. Can anyone with direct experience please share more info with me?

• How did you get into this field?
• Is the juice really worth the squeeze?
• Do you have any open positions where you work and are you willing to give a referral?
• Are there opportunities to work and get a promotion to something better when you start out this way?
• What other opportunities exist to make money in Alberta oil and gas.

Would appreciate any insights in this thread, DMs are also totally okay. Thanks!
