False abandoned car report

Is there a way to go about filing a complaint or disputing a false report of an abandoned car? I parked across the street from my house just at the curb, completely legal not blocking a driveway or anything, and today it was towed by AAU and I had to pay $400 to get it back from the lot. I have video proof that it gets moved almost every day and definitely within the last 72 hours. I'm mostly concerned with getting the money refunded more than anything else ..
