Is anyone else finding teams being completely unwilling to negotiate prices on transfers?

Discussion

I picked up Emile Witbooi for my Lyngby save on the cheap, kept him for a season when honestly, he underperformed and I am now happy to sell him for some profit. His valuation is £1.7m - £6.8m.

I have 32 offers (spare a thought for me, they take ages to deal with) and figured I'd try an experiment. Every single offer is for £1m so a nice even playing field to start with.

First club - 50% of next sale. Cheeky, but I wanted somewhere to work from. The club immediately pull out of negotiations.

Second club - 30% of next sale. The club immediately pull out of negotiations.

Third club - 10% of next sale. The club immediately pull out of negotiations.

Fourth club - I'm now thinking the game is bugged, so I set the price to £0. The club accept.

Fifth club - at this point I want to see what the issue with % of next sale is. I change the price to £0 and 10% of next sale. The club accept

Sixth club - £0 and 20% of next sale. They accept.

Seventh club - £0 and 30% of next sale. Immediately cancelled.

Eight club - £0 and 50% of profits from next sale. The club accept. This is functionally identical to 50% of next sale but, I guess it has higher approval weighting in negotiations.

Ninth club - I ask for £1.1m with no additional fees. They immediately cancel.

Tenth club - I ask for 200k and 30% of next sale. Accepted.

Eleventh club - I ask for 400k and 30% of next sale. Accepted.

Twelth club - I ask for 600k and 30% of next sale. Immediately cancelled.

Thirteenth club - I ask for 500k and 30% of next sale. Accepted.

I don't understand why clubs are being so rigidly uniform with what they'll accept, and that there is zero negotiations. I didn't lock anything in after club four because I wanted to see if I was ever going to get a counter bid.

So, yeah... Anyone else have anything like this?
