BC: new Quality Assurance Program

Heads up for oral health professionals in British Columbia: new information about the upcoming overhaul of the QAP has been published, link below. What do people think?

From what I understand:

• cycle length not confirmed but likely to be annual
• around 4 hours to be spent on self-inventory, self-assessment of standards, planning professional development activities and reviewing survey data (who’s going to collect data???)
• around 4-6 hours to be spent on module-based activities focused on a specific BCCOHP Professional/Practice standard
• some people will be chosen for additional activities
• number of credits/hours not specified anymore
• applicable to dentists, hygienists, CDAs, denturists, dental technicians, dental therapists (any more?)
