Question for people who grew up on welfare
I am a researcher studying the effect of welfare reform in the 1990s (PROWRA) on people who were children at the time. If you grew up in the 1990s and your parents either lost or were unable to access welfare due to the new time limits and work requirements, I'd love to hear from you. How did it impact you? Did it make you more/less likely want to go to college? Did it make you more/less likely to get a job straight out of high school? Something else?
