35 [F4R] Ohio / anywhere - chatty friends

Hi there! I had some unexpected dental work done today (a filling decided to start coming off? Bit rude. So it has now been replaced) and am basically just comfy at home and feeling sorry for myself now because my mouth is numb and it’s a weird feeling as that comes out.

A bit about me - I’m 35, I am a dual citizen of Canada & the US and have moved around quite a bit. I’ve been living in NE Ohio for the last couple years, and was in Florida before this but grew up in western Canada. I started a new in-person job in August after a few years working fully remote, and miss WFH but the job is good, at least.

To answer the typical ‘what do you do for fun?’ question in advance so you can see if we have things in common, most of my free time is spent reading, mostly fiction of any genre, with a hockey game on in the evening. I’m a Ducks fan, my dad picked them for me when I was 3 and I stuck by them. I also like to go for walks or on a hike and yes, I know that’s super typical to read on here.
