Question don’t come for me lol

So I was rimming my friend for the first time. I caught my self suffocating myself lol. Like when I would hit the right spot that felt good to him he would get into it but by then I was out of breath and suffocating myself. So is your technique to rim n breath at the same time???? Thanks in advance
