How to do the “talking stage” after college when we live in separate cities?
I (23M) am talking to a girl (22F) who I knew decently well in college since we had a lot of classes together and hung out occasionally at group events. We started talking more and more towards and after graduation, and eventually I asked her if she’d be interested in something more than just friendship. She said I was really sweet and she’s interested in getting to know me better but didn’t want to rush into anything. For about two weeks after we’ve been talking every day, but it feels like our conversation isn’t any deeper than before. We already know about each other’s future plans (roughly), tell each other about what’s going on in our day-to-day, etc. I just feel like everything is still very “surface level” and I don’t know how to advance things in the talking stage. We live in different cities so we can’t regularly meet up and just “hang out” on short notice or anything like that. Any advice?
