Why is my assignment flagged for AI use? What can I do?

Hey everyone,

I just submitted an assignment and it got flagged for potentially being written by AI. Honestly, I’m really confused because I did the work myself! I followed all the guidelines, didn’t use any external writing tools (at least none that I’m aware of) and the only thing I used was a grammar checker. That’s it!

I know some AI detection tools look for things like unusual phrasing or patterns that seem off and that kind of makes sense because I tend to write a little more formally. But it’s still super frustrating, and I really don’t want to get into trouble over something I didn’t do.

Has this happened to anyone else? If so, how did you handle it? And is there anything I can do to clear this up or avoid it happening again in the future?
