I own a RAV4 Prime, considering trading for an outlander phev. Thoughts?
The only reason why is because the Rav4 had garbage headroom and i have truly 1/2" of Headroom with a hat on in my Rav4 prime. If I do my hair up, I touch. If I adjust my seat or hit a bump, I touch. It kinda drives me nuts and I have to lean the seat back and it strains my shoulders. The outlander has ample front headroom unlike literally every other PHEV out there. I drive a good amount for work, currently about 75 percent ev driving after 1500 miles. I have done my research, and the outlander has the features and headroom I want while being able to drive majority electric.
I live in Colorado, where 87 is under 3/g so gas is cheap. I love having a HUD, headed and vented seats, but comfort in driving is crucial. Having an efficient car overall is important.
Do you all think me trading in for an outlander is a good idea? Is the 2026 worth the wait?
