Alastor's line from the trailer theory

"You really think you're powerful enough to take on all of heaven? You haven't even proven you're the strongest in Hell.**"

-Alastor, the Hazbin hotel season 2 trailer.

I was expecting this line to be dropped as a mid fight taunt against Vox but unless i missed it, Alastor never said it. So it seems that in a future ep, Alastor is going to let slip that Roise doesn't consider Vox to be the strongest overlord and bait Vox into confronting her.

Either to get Vox to force Roise into admiting Alastor isn't the strongest overlord and thus that she has failed to hold up her end of their deal, freeing him or that Roise is going to be forced to prove Alastor is the strongest by empower him further/fixing his staff and wound.

Given that there is already a several seasons planned out plot, i think Alastor is going to end up getting at least major one big step closer to freeing himself/becoming the big bad. Like how in season 1 he managed to get a deal-enforced-favour from charlie. And i think the result of him playing the Vees against Roise will be that big win for this season.

Or you know he could just be hoping they take each other out in a big fight.
