Young Couple Interested in moving to JC

Fiancé and I are in our late 20’s and want to move to Jersey City. We both work in Manhattan so we are looking to probably move downtown close to the path stations. We do not have kids which leads to this: we have heard and seen that there are a lot of young families with kids living downtown (which is amazing!). Would we be out of place with us not having kids? Are there a decent amount people and couples our age living downtown that do not have kids? We of course hope to befriend young couples with and without kids, but obviously young couples with kids tend to gravitate to other young couples with kids, and vice versa.
