Hi I need advice for betting in nba and other sports im not familiar with.

I would like to know some of yall's methods or philosophies, lately I've been doing high parlay legs and low amount wagers on basically sure bets like jokic for 3 assits. Haven't really hit, since obv. Picking so many legs doesn't help the odds. What is your approach to winning? Im just trying to hit a goal of making 5k off bets.
