Residency

I applied to UNC Charlotte, NC State and App State and did not list a residency number because of issues with my dad getting tax forms. My request for residency timed out and marked me as out of state, so I appealed and got my number, but it is waiting on approval. Now I am really worried because the deadline was last week and since colleges often have much lower acceptance rates for out of state students, I am wondering if my application chances are hurt for these colleges. I have contacted them all and given them my updated RCN, but I am still listed as out of state until the appeal is approved. Are my chances of admission at risk or should I be okay since I gave them the new number which should hopefully be approved this week or next?
