Spam FilmFreeway invites?

I started getting emails inviting me to enter specific films I have on Film Freeway into festivals. Some come with offers of discount entry. The first few were obvious spam, but others seemed to be real since when I replied they emailed back. My question is; to what extent are these invitations legit, and what if any value would you give them?
