Why are people upset with the way Prism is treated in Dispatch?

I've seen people being upset online because of a scene in the third episode. But nobody really seems to be saying why the scene is bad.

For those who haven't played the game you are leading a group of z list reformed criminals trying to be heroes. At this point in the story no one respects the main character and everyone is being scharstic and cutting and quipping with each other.

Well instead of taking it , the main character decides to clap back calling Prisim ( her powers are light based, and she is also a famous musician.Think dazzler from xmen but black)

Apparently people seem upset that the MC claps back by calling her "Niki mirage" and "Cardi C" both of which I thought were excellent comebacks.
