Alexa voice lingers and blocks the first five seconds of a song on Beam

So let's say I ask Alexa to play "Paint it Black" by the Rolling Stones on my Beam. Alexa says something like, "Paint it Black by the Rolling Stones" and then, I can barely hear the first five seconds of the song until the Alexa voice gets out of the way and allows the volume to flow through at the level where I've set it (5 out of 10 or whatever level of volume).

Is there a way to get the Alexa voice to quit blocking the first few seconds of songs?
