How to ask for this contour on the sides?
I've always just gone for 1.5-2" on top and a #2 on the sides, to varying effect. Half the time it looks good, half the time it doesn't, but it always grows in pretty well, so I don't really complain. I was looking through some photos from a trip and I really quite like the way the sides are contoured into the top in this picture. My head is relatively narrow and rounded up top, so a lot of barbers blend the sides and the top too smoothly, and I end up looking like a traffic bollard until it grows in. Is there a name for this type of blend, where it goes almost straight up and blends in more of a corner rather than a radius?
