What move should I do to progress career?

Hi everyone, after a long search for a job I finally got one at LPL as CSA, I’m assisting three advisors remotely. Two of them do traditional commission based products like half insurance/half securities, one of them does actual financial planning.

I currently have my insurance license only, should I do the securities exams and then study for CFP? I’m kind of lost and overwhelmed, I do eventually want to become a financial planner.
