Why do black hack drivers always act like they're doing you a favour?

Don't taxi often, certainly used to quite regularly in my younger days.

Advent of Uber now as well, I get a black hack occasionally. Every time in the last few years I've got one the cunt has hit me with this 'where are you going?' patter with a pure scrunched up face as if he's thinking about saying nah. Invariably I tell them and they say yes but always acting as if they're raging about it and doing me a favour. Like they're reluctant. What is that all about? Change job it you hate it that much, cunt.

Used to be able to talk to them normally.
