Question about moral waiver
Last year I tried joining the Army AD needed two tattoo waiver and a moral waiver. Tattoo waivers were approved in the past. Break down: Three years ago and some change I was arrested for DV for getting in an altercation with my sons grandfather (his moms side). The altercation turned physical and we got into a fight. Cops showed up I was arrested for what I thought was an “assault charge” (atleast that’s what the cops said). When I was in the station they hit me with a DV charge (assuming bc my son was in the house) long story short I spent 3 days in jail never went to an arraignment. Case was dismissed. Mutual combat. I wasn’t able to join last year bc of statute of limitations, which is now up. I’m in the process of having the waivers pushed through again.
I’m looking for advice from recruiters or soldiers who have been in a similar situation. What are the chances it’ll get approved this time? Advice? Anything will be helpful. Thank you.
