22 [T4R] #Boston - be my penpal? seriously! i'll mail you.
i've been thinking a lot about this recently. i really enjoy writing, as you might know from some of my other posts, and i'll be honest that a lot of my posting and the whole thing stems from my general desire to express myself in front of someone and have them simply acknowledge my thoughts, rather than feel validated by them for what i've written. yes, sex and people and vibing is cool, but i'm a philosopher, and my philosophy (i feel) doesn't stem from anything other than my love of writing and humanity.
i want a bit of a forum to be able to write my thought and not have it be anything other than a stream, a letter in someone's inbox that they read and never have any expectation of needing to be overly engaged with other than a good thumbs up.
i think too much. i'm kind of a lot, all the time, and it's quite annoying at most moments of my days for many people. i could kind of express a river of thoughts all the time, because i'm always thinking. like, even this post is a river of thoughts. it never ends.
so i want to have someone who'd genuinely like to hear from someone else about life, the days, bullshit, things, shitty things, nice things, many things. i want to be candid and annoying and have weird prose that's cool and funny and doesn't make sense. a reader, maybe a fellow writer, a poet perhaps. i journal for myself, yes, but i don't really ever get to reflect in the way that you do when you hand in a well written essay and your professor grades it. i want to do that, but for like...life.
so, i'd like an email penpal. this is probably one of my last and definitely one of the most out there requests over here, but i'd like to write to someone, expecting them to read it (even if they don't!), decorate the pages, and send it off like a bird carrying a scroll with gold twinged pages. the program i use is really neat in that you can also leave comments, so for every little letter, you should be able to say little things about what you're thinking, and i would respond in the next one. and i'd like it to be a mass native, as i think it's really cool the idea that the person receiving my letters exists out in my very real world, and i could never know that i'm meeting them. or maybe they would want to see me, after all that writing. i don't know. the world is very strange.
very asynchronous, very contemplative, but probably the most accurate reflection of my heart you could get. nothing at all sexual or even necessarily romantic, unless that's how i feel that day. i don't know if there's a person out there at all who thinks this way, but if you do, let me know and i'd like to coordinate something with you.
