Would you restart or continue?

Hey all, hope you’re having a good day.

I’m someone who have played maybe 30-40 hours of this game, and last time I played was maybe 1,5 years ago. Last thing I remember was getting to a snowy mountain. I’m thinking of getting into it again, so I was hoping some of you would have some tips or suggestions on whether I should restart.

When I played I used to watch videos on where to go and what weapons to use, atleast until I got to the big city. Even though I am awful at these games, I regret using guides since it doesn’t feel like MY playthrough.

So I’m basically asking if I should try from the beginning and just embrace my "noobness". I’m leaning towards restarting. Even though I might throw away those hours, I may have more fun when playing blind?
