Something I Noticed (DLC Prediction)

Not sure if anyone has brought this up yet so I decided to do so because I think this is interesting and weird. Spoilers for Route 0, 2nd Scenario, and SF.

So early on in the story, we have 10 students attending Last Defense Academy and 5 at Second-To-Last Defense Academy. According to Nigou, the 2LDA students were always intended to join the LDA students at the main campus, and it's proven true with the fact that there are 15 prefab huts on the roof for each of the students. Nothing wrong there, right?

Except we then learn that Nozomi was never intended to be a part of the SDU. Furthermore, we learn in 2nd Scenario that this is because Nozomi is the only human while the other students are Futuran clones created by the Exodus Project; the ones in charge of the war on humanity's side, as well as the fact that the school was actually a spaceship the Exodus Project sent down to serve as their base where Shion would store up Undying Flames to use on the final attack. Knowing all that, why would there be 15 prefab huts instead of 14?

Now it's possible to think of this as there being 15 rooms because the writers didn't want to immediately make the truth about Nozomi too obvious. As for the in game explanation, one could argue a 15th prefab hut exists as an extra room just in case, similarly to how Nigou created the Artificial Class Armor just in case. One could argue it's not really something to think deeply about and they'd normally be right. But there was something else I noticed about the roof that made me do some digging, and I found out something else that's crazy.

So when walking around the school in game, have you noticed you can only go up one of the staircases leading up to the roof but not the other one on the other side? Why design two staircases in game if you can only go up one of them? Between that and the 15th prefab hut, I remembered there was a CG that showed a bird's eye view of the school with a good view of the roof and checked it to see if a theory of mine was correct. Sure enough, my suspicions were right. When you look at the CG, you can see the 15 prefab huts on the right side of the roof structured exactly like they do when you're walking around in game. However, when you look on the left side of the roof, there's an additional 16 prefab huts set up there.

Here's where my theory comes in. Kodaka has already confirmed when discussing DLCs that he not only wants to introduce new characters but also new units during battles. He already brought up wanting to introduce a robot character similar to Keebo from DRV3, but what if there's more clones like the current SDU that the Exodus Project hasn't sent down for whatever reason? Would make sense too. It's strange that while the majority of the main cast is 17, you have the Tsukumo twins who are 15, implying the twins may have been created later than the other students if we consider that their memories were being programmed into them in real time. Plus if I remember correctly, SF revealed that the Exodus Project have even created a second Shion should their plans with the original Shion fail, so it wouldn't be unusual if they had more clones at their disposal.

But that's all just a theory. What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
