Different Italo Train Schedules for Same Train on Different Websites
I recently booked tickets on the same train through two different services - I booked a cheap fair on RailEurope for an Italo train, the seats were not together, realized I couldn't cancel or select seats with the fair I purchased, so then I just bought separate "higher class" tickets on Italo's website for the same train so I could pick seats and ensure my young children sit with me. I intended to just use the RailEurope purchase for a new booking for other trains via their rebook option (looks like I'd just pay a change fee).
Italo emailed me to let me know "my journey has changed" and now I'm on a train that takes three times as long leaving a little bit later. However, Rail Europe, and even Italo's website (the schedule page), still shows my original time and duration. So I'm a bit confused as the two websites are telling me different departure times and durations for the same train. Has anyone encountered this before? For now I'm just keeping both but not sure which to view as the source of truth (and then which I could use to book a separate trip via a re-book).
